Who is eligible to join the Pematek Club?
Membership is automatically open to all students currently enrolled in the Faculty of Communication, Visual Art & Computing (FCVAC) at Unisel. We welcome students from all years and related majors to join our community.
How do I register for upcoming events?
Event registration is typically handled through our official social media channels or the student portal. Keep an eye on our Instagram and bulletin boards for QR codes and Google Form links before every major event.
Do I need to be a pro at coding or design to join?
Absolutely not! That’s literally why we are here. Whether you are a Photoshop wizard or you just learned how to turn on a computer, Pematek is a place to learn from seniors and peers. No judgment, just growth.
What kind of events do you guys actually do?
A mix of everything. We have Off-campus visit , workshop learning, design sprints, and the occasional “lepak” session where we just complain about deadlines together.
Does participating in Pematek activities provide Merit points?
Yes. Active participation in our workshops, events, and committee roles contributes to your university merit score, which is essential for your student record and potential scholarship applications.
What is the primary mission of the club?
We aim to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application. We organize exhibitions, tech talks, and creative showcases to prepare FCVAC students for the real industry.
Is this club high commitment? I’m busy with assignments!
We get it, FCVAC assignments are no joke. You can be as active as you want. Join the big events when you have time, or just hang out in the whatsapp group, You usually get out what you put in!
Can I join the committee/Mainboard?
We hold elections annually! If you want to run the show, gain leadership skills, and have a shiny resume, definitely look out for our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
